Saturday was the party to celebrate Coco's 18th birthday. We had a beautiful day with friends and family. The food and fellowship was great. A big thanks to her friends for making the drive to our house, to family for traveling for the day and to everyone for the gifts.
We make a big deal of birthdays at our house. I am not sure why, but we always have. It is a great reminder that we are not raising our kids alone, but we depend on our family, church and friends to offer support to us and to be an example to our kids. One family at the party has been "taking care of Coco" since she was in third grade. Mr. H has been her prayer partner since that time. They have a great relationship and it is funny to w
atch them interact.Thanks to Jodi and my family for sticking around to help clean up. She had a great time and we hope everyone else did as well. Here are some pictures.
